Pontiac Theatre IV proudly presented “The Wizard of OZ” Directed by Don De Laire. The Wizard of Oz is based on L. Frank Baum's 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, in which a resourceful American girl is snatched up by a Kansas tornado and deposited in a fantastic land of good and wicked witches, a talking scarecrow, a tin man, a cowardly lion, and more. A place where a dream you dare to dream really can come true. It stars Margaret Morgan as Dorothy. Features Jeff Shuster as The Wizard, Phil Cuthbertson as the Scarecrow, Chuck Morgan as the Tinman, Michael Warholak as the Cowardly Lion, Monica Hirn as Glinda, and Mary Morgan as the Wicked Witch of the West. The musical features such favorites as : “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Follow the Yellowbrick Road”, “If I Only had a Brain,” “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.”
This stage adaptation of the beloved 1939 movie is sure to be a family favorite for all ages.
